Chatroulette Maps
Mar11
Move over Twitter from 2009 and Facebook from 2008. Chatroulette is this years ‘cool’ thing.
The newest social media platform is making a huge splash. It’s like Omegle 2.0 In January, Chatroulette.com had 750 users. Today, more then 20,000 people are on to talk to complete strangers. However, not everyone is a stranger. There have been sightings of Ashton Kutcher, Paris Hilton and everyones favorite:
The Jo-Bros
The reason for this post is a tag-along of Chatroulette.com called Chatroulettemap.com. Chatroulettemap (CM) is interesting because it captures peoples IP address and enters their image to their location. Check it out. But let me warn you – some of the pictures are not safe for work.
Notables:
- Kennewick
- Hawaii (the one by the airport)
- San Juan, Puerto Rico
I’ve yet to dive into Chatroulette.com. Have you? How did it go?

The Hiatus is Over
Mar1
My unintentional break is finally over. I didn’t ever decide to stop updating this blog, it just, happened. I’ve now found a good routine and feel this site can fit in that.
So the two-month hiatus is done. Be sure to check back periodically for updates.

ps. I missed you.
Snoop and Martha do Brownies
Dec30

This photo really does deserve a thousand words, but instead of wasting your time, only three comments:
- The powder in Snoop’s bowl is NOT flour.
- I want to see this duo on Amazing Race.
- Snoop didn’t get the memo – it was supposed to be an ugly sweater party.
P.S. Thanks to my coworker, Jane, for pointing this great moment in history out.
And with that, I’m back from my creative writing hiatus. Welcome back, me!
xoxo,

Apology to Eric Stangel
Oct20
For those who missed it, I posted a Follow Friday entry on October 9th about Eric Stangel and his witty sport-centric Twitter account (read it here). The following is in response to Eric’s correspondence with Juice:
Dear Eric,
It was mean-spirited and immature to call you a “frump” – my sincerest apologies. Perhaps, as I shared with my colleague earlier, a more accurate description would be “grown up Corey Matthews doppelganger” Just take a look at the striking similarity…

It’s hard to tell you apart, much like Pau Gasol and Big Bird (Go Blazers!).

I have gone back to the original Follow Friday and corrected the slimy writing to better reflect my admiration and respect of someone so talented and closely resembling of a childhood icon. Please accept my apology as I do not wish to end up on Dave’s Top Ten Shit List. Thanks for reading and keep up the awesome tweets.
Warm Regards,
Adam

Make Her Breakfast in Bed

Take a gander at this yahoo answers post. Mom definitely over reacted.

The best way to smooth this over is wash her car, or give her a coupon for 2 free back rubs.

Northern Exposure
Oct11

It appears that the bad guys are now making their way north. Crime is everywhere. It happens every day. But usually when I hear about something happening, it is either in south Seattle, or the Downtown area.
I follow the Seattle PD (@SeattlePD) on Twitter. I assume their Public Information Officer (PIO) Mark Jamieson, is the one who is twittering the information . The Seattle PD also has a blog that they update with unique or major criminal information. Personally, I think this is very healthy for the Department to do said Tweets and blogs. It informs the community, in a small way, of information that is discussed in police briefings. Good PR tactic!
The purpose of this post is to ask, W.T.F?! In the past 2 days, the blog and Twitter page have been about 4 crimes that occurred in North Seattle (anything south of 145 Ave and north of Union Bay, Portage Bay, Lake Union, Salmon Bay [essentially, if you cross a bridge, you're in north Seattle]).

My request for the bad guys: keep heading north. I hear Alaska is good this time of year. I mean, Palin is gone… just sayin’.

That is all.
