If you’re a Gran Turismo fan and looking for a PSP, listen up. Sony is releasing a special edition PSP along with a copy of Gran Turismo. Also included is a 2GB Memory Stick Pro Duo, codes for downloadable cars including a Corvette ZR1, and an untitled movie on the PSN. The bundle will be released October 20th, while the game itself will be in stores October 1st.

Developer Raven Software’s new FPS Wolfenstein, which is set to release within the week, has gone with an interesting advertising approach. According to Manveer Heir’s Twitter page if the game outsells EA’s Madden 10 in August, he’ll pay for your game. Don’t forget to keep your receipt though, if by some miracle Madden 10 is a flop. I wouldn’t count on it though.

Sony announced today at GamesCom that they are releasing a slimmed down version of the Playstation 3, along with a $100 price drop bringing it to $300. The 120GB console will be available September 1st, and is available for pre-order at Amazon.com.
It will still perform just like the “fat” PS3, while using 34% less power and taking up 32% less space under your TV. A new firmware update is also in store, V3.0, which includes BRAVIA Sync, which basically lets you control your PS3’s XMB with your Sony Bravia TV remote. Sony also put an end to being able to install Linux on the hard drive. Sorry Linux fans.
If you’ve just bought a HDTV and are in the market for a Blu-Ray player, I highly suggest picking up one of these Slims. At $300 for a Blu-Ray player and a great gaming console it’s a steal.
